What to Expect
Consultation
Starting with a sit-down introductory consultation, your agent will gain an understanding of your needs, wants, budget, and goals. During your consultation, we’ll begin to identify areas of focus to help guide your property search. We also use this initial consultation to answer any questions you may have so you can navigate the buying process with confidence.
Pre-Approval
Gaining pre-approval for financing will immediately help align your property search to your budget. Don’t know where to start? No worries. Our agents have walked hundreds of buyers through the pre-approval process and your agent is here to help you each step of the way. Locking in your pre-approval upfront will help pave the way for the rest of the buying process.
Home Search
Now that you’re pre-approved and know what you can afford, it’s time to start searching for your home or investment property. Your agent will identify properties that meet your criteria and line up showings for you to walk through any properties of interest. Along the way, we’ll educate you about the market and relevant topics to your specific needs or goals.
Prepare Offers
Once you find the home or investment property that checks all the right boxes, you’re ready to submit an offer. Your agent will work with you to prepare the strongest possible offer to help position you for acceptance. From there, we’ll submit your offer to the seller’s agent for review and help you navigate any subsequent negotiations, if applicable.
Escrow Setup
Once you’ve got an accepted offer in hand, you’re ready to set up an escrow account in preparation for closing. This is where we’ll connect you with an escrow officer to serve as a neutral third-party to handle all documents, funds, and other items necessary to successfully close on the property.
Deliver Keys
Congratulations! You’re now the proud new owner of your next home or investment property. After you’ve successfully closed on your property, we’ll present you with the keys to your new place. Even though this is the last step of the buying process, it’s the beginning of your new DREIM ‒ and we couldn’t be happier for you.
